Perfectly located on the edge of Bourton on the Water in the heart of the Cotswolds, Larks Rise is an ideal base for touring and walking, with the Windrush Way a minute from the door. The Village centre, with its excellent choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and attractions, is just 10 minutes walk.

Bill and Barbara are enjoying their fifth year offering Bed and Breakfast Accommodation. Three bedrooms offer superb comfort and style ( two king size), with modern en suite shower rooms and a newly refitted bathroom. With their professional background in antiques and Fine Art, a stay at Larks Rise promises a unique experience in a peaceful setting. Having built up their B&B to Four Star Highly Commended rating for four years running, the newly built Lodge now offers the option of Luxury self catering accommodation.

The Edwardian house stands in almost an acre of gardens so there is always somewhere secluded to sit for a while, and a large guest car park is provided.

Believing in simplicity, Bill and Barbara consider comfortable beds and superb breakfasts to be the essence of their business. All beds are pocket sprung with top quality cotton bed linen, and breakfast choices include full English or Continental, with cereals, fruits and yoghurts, and typical Specials such as scrambled eggs and smoked salmon or porridge served with cream.

Tariff

Bed and Breakfast per room is from £70 - £95 per night based on two people sharing and varies according to time of year and length of stay. We do ask for a minimum stay of two nights.

At time of booking, we ask for a minimum of 1 night as deposit, which can be paid by debit or credit card over the telephone.  This deposit is refundable up until 28 days prior to the stay, after which time refund is at our discretion and may depend upon whether we can replace the booking.  The balance is due on the morning of departure.

The Mungo Room

room has its own style and personality. Two offer en-suite facilities, and the other has its own private bathroom just across the hall (bathrobes are supplied). Controllable central heating, good ventilation and cooling fans for that heatwave all ensure a comfortable night. High quality complimentary toiletries are provided, as well as thoughtfully stocked hospitality trays. Fresh fruit is always available. Each bedroom has a fridge, free WiFi and TV/ DVD player. A book, film or cd may be chosen from the small library in the Guests' sitting room, or you might just settle in front of the log fire and play cards. And if you have forgotten to bring something you need, just ask – if at all possible, it will be provided.

Bill's excellent breakfasts include Cotswold sausage and bacon, and fresh eggs from our own free range hens. This is served in our sunny conservatory at tables for two.

Larks Rise is a non-smoking home and regretfully it is not possible to accommodate children under 12 or pets.
